Aarmoire – Fusion Feast

Very rarely do you come across a talented team of designers who represent two generations. This rare combination of a mother-daughter has blended their skills to provide a unique fusion of traditional simplicity to modern chic. That their designs cover both traditional and western designer wear have truly left their esteemed clients yearning for more.

At the outskirts of Delhi, Mithlesh & Himani Agarwal run their boutique, Aarmoire. Mithlesh started modestly over a decade ago and Himani after a stint at LaSalle's International, Singapore joined her mother a couple of years ago to take the already successful label even further. While Mithlesh started with reviving 18th century traditional designs and intricate embellishments, Himani's joining has made their repertoire complete with chic western wear. Combining their skills has resulted in a fusion that can only be experienced in person.

That God is in the small things can we witnessed in their meticulous attention to the designs process - from the drawing board onto silks, georgettes, Lycra and velvets to be embellished by skilled craftsmen from the families of traditional embroiders.

Currently Aarmoire's selection is on display at Mogra in Delhi & Mumbai.
