Paresh Lamba (Registered Member)

Paresh Lamba's fashion sense was apparent at an early age when he would tastefully co-ordinate suits with the right accessories. His accomplishments, his success and embodiment of what makes a stylish man, place his brand a cut above the rest.
Inspired by a passion for fashion, Pl as he is popularly known, started his boutique in 1992 and has today become the epitome of classic fashion. His entrepreneurial instinct, innovativeness and design expertise have made him the Founder, Designer and Chairman of a progressive company, a company that was once a small unit catering to a few discerning clients; today a large scale, state-of-the-art textile finishing house.
Equipped with the finest equipment, textiles and clothing are finished to perfection at Pl' design and manufacturing house. Pl additionally sources specialist fabrics from Italy, Egypt and France, creating well structured and sophisticated suits, shirts, sherwani's and office wear. Pl caters to the office worker who wants to look stylish while presenting a powerful yet discerning look at the workplace.
As a stylist, Pl grooms corporate honcho's and preppy grooms alike. He has trained and groomed office goers at global corporations like Oracle and Wipro and re-worked trousseaus for grooms-to-be.
Pl boasts a clientele of industrial guru's, technocrats, politicians, actors and a posse of expatriates. He says - 'There is a major resemblance in the personality traits of most trendy people. They usually love the unexpected and enjoy being noticed for their new purchases. Characteristically, people who buy the latest lines of clothing tend to be outgoing and extroverted and don't mind an occasional surprised onlooker glancing at them. They are the first ones to think of fresh ideas for the newest look and can predict the styles that will help them stand out from the rest of the crowd.'
He goes on to say - 'First off, you must begin by caring more about what you wear. Rather than always wearing the same shirt and pants, vary your combinations more often. Start noticing people who dress well and take note of which colors, cuts and styles they wear. Start shopping in order to refresh and revitalize your wardrobe. Flip through magazines and notice what will be the next big thing for next season. It's even simple to see what the next trends and styles will be by watching popular television shows.'
It is important, however, not to fall into the fashion trap. So many people simply buy clothes because they are "in". Follow the trends and buy what you like within the trend. Don't feel forced to wear something you think looks ridiculous simply because it's trendy - you won't feel comfortable in it and it'll end up spending more time in your closet. Tailor the newest trends to your own personal style and be careful not to fall victim to the newest styles by overdoing it.
He adds, 'By combining an avant-garde or vintage piece of clothing with one of your more conservative items, you'll soon find ways to look very stylish without having to buy clothes every few months. Start by being more receptive to innovative styles and you'll be looking great before you know it.'
PL says - 'My biggest thrill is creating a garment and seeing it being appreciated.'
Through sheer hard work and exacting standards, PL creates collections every season, with the aim that they appeal to the customer. Albeit typical in his choice of color, he enjoys innovatively working with 'blacks' for evening wear.
PL aims to expand operations foraying into retailing his lines - both prêt and customized design in different cities across India, seeing every well dressed man attired in his creations.
This is a one stop area for dressing the groom to be. Whether it is the all important reception suit or the wedding sherwani, you can be rest assured that you will find a wide range of what a groom needs. With personal inputs by PL himself, it is indeed a pleasure shopping for your wedding clothes.
