Continuing with its commitment to fashion, earlier this year, British Airways also compiled the Best Dressed Traveller list which celebrates the relationship between flying and fashion. The list, topped by Victoria Beckham, honoured some of today’s globe-trotting trendsetters, spanning the worlds of film, music and entertainment.
The Sherwani uniform for South Asian British Airways crew designed by eminent designer Rohit Bal in 2007 is simply reflective of how British Airways has evolved in all these years with respect to uniform fashion. From classic red-lined jacket and skirt, with optional flared trousers, brightly coloured ‘Aztec’ designed uniform to sarees replaced by kurta suit on Indian routes, British Airways’ cabin crew uniforms always exhibits on board flair, elegance, style and glamour.

The oneworld alliance, of which British Airways was a founding airline, came in first in the Best Airline Alliance category for the third year running.
In February 2016, British Airways won the Consumer Superbrand for the third time in a row, and the Business Superbrand for the second year in a row at the Superbrands 2016 Awards. This is the first time that any company has won both prestigious titles in two consecutive years.
